China congratulated on Tuesday Egypt after the Egyptian parliament held its first session Sunday.

Spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Hong Lei said this move proves that Egypt's political transition has completed.

He also praised deeply-rooted relations between Egypt and China.

He expressed his country's support for Egypt to restore its stability and security.
