China criticized on Sunday a call by US Presidential Candidate Donald Trump to bar Muslims from entering the US following the California shooting, which claimed the lives of 14 people last week.
Spokeswoman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Hua Chunying declined to comment on Trump remarks, stressing that her country's policy is based on not interfering in the domestic affairs of other countries.
She stressed that China refuses to link terrorism to a specific religion or group, calling on the international community to fight all forms of extremism.
