China's Foreign Ministry urged North Korea on Friday to stick to its denuclearisation pledges and avoid taking action that would make worse the situation since its latest nuclear test on Wednesday, Reuters reported.

Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying made the comments at a daily news briefing.
