A Chinese expert called on major countries in the world to help Egypt in its fight against terrorism.
The head of the Islamic Civilization Research Foundation at Beijing University told Xinhua news agency that he was confident that Egypt will firmly face the terrorism.
He said the Daesh militant group has ambitions to expand its influence to North and West Africa with focus on Egypt.
He pointed out that it was not reasonable to leave Egypt alone facing the terrorists in Libya.
