Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming praised on Wednesday the deeply-rooted relations between China and the Islamic states.

Zhang made the statement during a meeting with Assistant Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Abdullah Alem.

Zhang reiterated his country's readiness to boost cooperation with the OIC to find solutions to the Palestinian issue and others.

Alem, for his part, said the Islamic organization is fully ready to boost ties with China.

He also thanked China for its supportive stance towards the Palestinian issue and other hot topics.
