The President of China Xi Jinping received Kuwait's First Deputy Premir and Foreign Minister, and current chair of the GCC Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Friday. The two senior officials were attending the Third Joint Strategic Dialogue meeting, where also present were Gulf Cooperation Council chief delegates. The two sides discussed strategic relations between the geopolitical GCC bloc and the nation of China. They also discussed Middle East affairs and the need to achieve peace and stability in this region. The encounter was also attended by Kuwaiti Ambassador to China, Mohammed Al-Thuwaikh.
