Chinese President Xi Jinping's special envoy, Environmental Protection Minister Chen Jining, will go to Sudan and attend the inauguration of Sudanese's president,Omar al-Bashir.

Chen's visit is at the invitation of Bashir. The ceremony will be held on June 2, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced Thursday.
