Palestinians throw stones during clashes with Israeli security

Fierce clashes erupted between Palestinian youth and Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank and Al Quds (Occupied East Jerusalem) after the death of a Palestinian infant in an arson attack blamed on Jewish settlers in the West Bank.

The 18-month-old boy was killed in the attack on two homes in the village of Duma. His parents and brother suffered serious injuries.

Hundreds of Palestinians protested in various districts following Friday prayers against the incident, chanting slogans slamming the crime.

The angry Palestinians clashed with the Israeli forces in various areas in the West Bank and Al Quds.

The Israeli forces fired live bullets and tear gas at the Palestinian young men.

Several youth were injured in the clashes.

In response to the incident, Israel's prime minister called the attack "reprehensible and horrific".

"This is an act of terrorism in every respect. The State of Israel takes a strong line against terrorism regardless of the perpetrators," Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on Twitter.
