Clashes erupted on Tuesday, between the residents of Deir Hejlah and Israeli forces after activists held a demonstration on Road 90. The activists raised the Palestinian flag and slogans which called for the end of the occupation.Salah al-Khawaja, one of the organizers of “Neighborhoods of Deir Hejleh village” said that the organizers called for a series of protest activities during their stay in the village, whilst also calling on the Palestinian residents to support the villagers, and to increase their presence in the village to reinforce the steadfastness of its residents.It is also worth mentioning that the popular resistance activists last week, revived the village of Deir Hejleh by staying inside of it, despite Israeli attempts to confiscate the Jordan Valley.
