A training course on maritime surveillance systems began on Friday in the Italian city of Messina with the participation of seven members of Yemen’s Coast Guard Authority.The training course is held in the framework of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries. Lasting until May 2014, the course is a component of a maritime surveillance system project funded by Italy.It aims at training Yemeni cadres for operating the maritime surveillance system as well as exchanging experiences in the field of maritime security.
