A 22-year-old Palestinian college student who was critically injured on February 23 by an Israeli army bullet during confrontations in his home village of Aboud, north of Ramallah, died Thursday of his wounds, according to his family. They said Muhammad Asfour, a senior at al-Quds University, died at an Israeli hospital after attempts to save his life have failed. Asfour was hit by a rubber bullet in the head during confrontations that erupted following the death of a Palestinian prisoner in an Israeli jail. He was first transferred to Rafidiya hospital in Nablus but later moved to an Israeli hospital due to the seriousness of his situation.
