Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos has promised to send a note of protest to Moscow in connection with the violation of its airspace by Russian Tu-160 bombers, ITAR-TASS reported. "The situation with these Russian bombers as follows: Friday two aircraft on their way from Venezuela to Nicaragua, flying in Colombian airspace," the agency quoted the head of state. The Office of Press and Information Agency Russian Defense Ministry reported that the flight was carried out in strict accordance with international rules.
