The US Congress decided on Wednesday not to vote on a bill to impose instant restrictions on the entry of Syrian and Iraqi refugees to the United States.

The Congress added that it may not make major reforms to the Visa Waiver Program in response to campaigns launched recently by non-governmental organizations, European diplomats and US lawmakers.
