Congress passed Friday the spending bill for the 2014 financial year, which ends in September.The Senate had passed the bill with 72 votes for and 26 against, while the parliament passed it with a majority of 359 votes to 67 against. The budget is worth around $1.1 trillion. Now the Congress will pass the bill to the US President to sign in order to become applicable.All Democrats in the Congress voted in favor of the budget, while Republicans had only 17 members who voted in the budget's favor. The spending bill is compiled of 1528 pages.
