Costa Rican authorities seized a boat laden with nearly 1.3 tonnes of cocaine off a beach in the Caribbean town of Cahuita, the Public Security Ministry said Monday. According to dpa, the drugs were seized Sunday close to shore, and the boat\'s crew managed to flee the site before police arrived. Cahuita is in the Costa Rican province of Limon, where drug trafficking has soared in recent years.
