Culture Minister Gaber Asfour received on Tuesday night North Korean ambassador in Cairo at the headquarters of the Supreme Council of Culture.
The meeting was attended by Acting Head of Foreign Cultural Relations Sector Sabri Saeed.
The talks touched on boosting cultural ties and cooperation between Egypt and North Korea during the coming period as North Korea has a project to develop the Helwan Wax Museum, Saeed said.
The Egyptian minister welcomed fostering cultural relations with North Korea in different fields, Saeed added.
