Cypriot Foreign Ministry condemned as "barbaric" the beheading of 21 Egyptians in Libya by the terrorists of Daesh group.
"Cyprus strongly condemns the killing of Coptic Egyptians by the so-called the 'Islamic State' terrorists in Libya," the ministry said in a statement on Monday.
The Foreign Ministry considered such crime as an alarm for the growing dangers of the hardline groups, adding that such inhumane acts prompt intensifying the fight against terror groups as well as reaching a political solution to the Libyan crisis as soon as possible.
