The Czech military may send up to 200 medical officers and members of its anti-chemical unit in the event of a NATO ground operation launched against the Daesh group in Syria or Iraq, Defense Minister Martin Stropnicky has said.
It is important to help the forces fighting against the terrorist group, Stropnicky said, adding this should be by providing most effective weapons and air support.
The deployment of Czech troops should get the okay from the government first.
