Daesh militant group has launched a coordinated attack on a number of security posts in Achin District of eastern Nangarhar province, Khaama Press reported.

Haji Ghalib, governor of Achin District told media that the attack began around 03:00 am this morning and currently there is ongoing heavy clash between militants and security forces.

He further said that most of the militants are Pakistani nationals.
