Daesh militants

The Daesh militants have wrested control over several Syrian villages from some rivals near Aleppo despite the Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Observatory for human Rights (SOHR) said on Friday.

The Daesh's advance represents a significant gain for the militant group in the region since late of August, head of the SOHR Rami Abdel-Rahman said.

Such gain makes Daesh two kilometers away from an industrial area, under the control of the government, northern Aleppo, the biggest northern Syrian city, he added.

The Russian fighter jets and warships have been bombing for 10 days now sites belonging to the terrorist Daesh group, which has taken over large swaths of Iraq and Syria and has been accused of numerous human rights violations, including mass murder, beheading, burning hostages alive and other atrocities
