Egypt's new ambassador to Togo Karim Sherif

Egypt's new ambassador to Togo Karim Sherif has presented a copy of his credentials to Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Minister Robert Dussey.
During a meeting with the minister, ambassador Sherif carried the regards of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry to his counterpart in Togo.
Egypt and Togo ties date back to 1960 when the African country got its independence.
The ambassador said his term will see the resumption of economic and investment joint committee that was suspended since 1991.
