Egypt's Ambassador to Rwanda Namira Negm met Saturday with the University of Rwanda President Nelson Ijumba.

The meeting focused on the possibility of establishing an Egyptian academic center for mining and geology in cooperation with Cairo University, according to a statement issued by Egypt's Foreign Ministry on Saturday.

The meeting also tackled promoting cooperation between Egypt and Rwanda through dispatching Egyptian professors to teach in the Rwandan universities, added the statement.
