Minister of Finance Hani Qadri held a meeting with UK Minister for International Development Desmond Swayne to discuss ways to promote cooperation.
The meeting tackled economic measures taken by Egypt during the past period, mainly reform of energy subsidization and consultations with the International Monetary Fund.
Qadri also reviewed preparation for the planned economic conference in Sharm El Sheikh, slated for March 13-15.
He also discussed ways to promote cooperation between Egypt’s Ministry of Finance and UK Department of International Development.
