Geneva - MENA
Egypt called on the International Labor Organisation to extend the scope of its centennial declaration to include social and peace issues, Minister of Manpower and Immigration Nahed el Ashri said on Wednesday.
The declaration should not only focus on issues that are related to work, training and workers' rights, the minister said, addressing the 104th session of the ILO.
The declaration should tackle also issues that are related to terrorism and extremism, Ashri said.
She said the announcement of the declaration should be made in a huge event to mark this historical moment.
