Egypt condemned the assassination of a Somali lawmaker while he was heading for the parliament to attend the vote of confidence on Somalia's new government.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ambassador Badr Abdel Aatt Wednesday called on the international community to consolidate efforts to fight terrorism which destabilizes world countries and hurdles development plans.
