Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab witnessed Thursday the inking of three cooperation protocols with the Democratic Republic of Congo in the fields of electricity, health and environment.

The electricity ministries of both countries agreed that Egypt would establish two solar stations in Kinshasa.

The Egyptian government offers 6 million dollars as a grant for the project within the framework of the riparian countries development initiative.

The Arab Organization for Industrialization and the New and Renewable Energy Authority will implement the projects.

Mahalab also witnessed the inking of a cooperation protocol between the environment ministries of both countries for exchanging expertise in the fields of managing biodiversity and natural protectorates.

Under the protocol, the two sides will also exchange expertise in the fields of climate change and environmental assessment.

Mahlab also witnessed the inking a cooperation deal between the health ministries of both sides for establishing an Egyptian health center in Kinshasa.

On the fringe of inking the cooperation protocols, Mahlab had talks with the Congolese ministers of health, environment and electricity and welcomed their participation in the New Suez Canal inauguration.
