Egyptian Copts\' Coalition called on the armed forces to provide the necessary protection for citizens in the Sinai Peninsula, especially its Christian population.  In a statement, the coalition said that extremist groups have been targeting the Copts in Sinai, adding that Egyptian Copts suffered from consecutive attacks and threats.  They urged authorities to do more to prevent attacks targeting Christian clerics, the properties of Copts and their places of worship.
