Assistant Foreign Minister Hisham Badr criticized on Saturday US Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power for "interference in the internal affairs" of Egypt.

Badr was replying to a tweet posted by Power on recent court rulings against leaders o the banned Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group.

The diplomat asserted that the judiciary in Egypt ensures justice and transparency.
