Cairo - MENA
Egypt condemned on Sunday Nigeria's deadly attack that occurred on Saturday and targeted worshipers in a mosque.
In a press release, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Aatti said Egypt supports the Nigerian government and people against terrorism.
The statement also offered condolences to the victims' families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
A suicide bombing has killed dozens of people and injured others inside a mosque in northeast Nigeria's city of Maiduguri, just hours after Boko Haram launched a separate attack, on the first full day of President Muhammadu Buhari's term.
