A meeting in Cairo between Egyptian Water Resources and Irrigation Hossam Moghazy and Minister of Sustainable Development and Environment Bienvenue Liyota Ndjoll of the DR Congo, set for Friday, has been delayed.
The meeting was delayed as the Egyptian minister, who is in Khartoum for meetings of a three-way expert committee on the Ethiopian dam, has not returned yet.
The meeting was expected to tackle an agreement signed between the two countries in 2012 on the comprehensive management of water resources, under which Egypt offers a grant of $10.5 million to DR Congo.
