Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker will head Egypt's delegation to the 59th conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on September 14-18 in Vienna.

The team will comprise the chairmen of concerned energy bodies in Egypt, said Hani Khedr, the spokesman for the Egyptian program for the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

Addressing the IAEA conference, Shaker will underline the importance of nuclear energy and its peaceful applications in achieving economic and social development, said Khedr.
