Agriculture Minister Essam Fayed said on Friday that his ministry seeks to make an optimal use of projects currently established by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in Egypt by setting up integrated urban industrial communities and training units.

Addressing the 39th session of IFAD's Governing Council, Fayed said his ministry does utmost to achieve a comprehensive agricultural and economic renaissance by 2030.

He added that the ministry's plan is based on utilizing natural resources and developing livestock, fisheries and poultry.
