Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr and visiting UN-AL special envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi met here on Tuesday on the Syrian crisis. Brahimi refused to speak to the press after the meeting. In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said the meeting comes within the framework of contacts and efforts Amr is holding on the critical situation in Syria. They also discussed intensifying humanitarian relief efforts in Syria and means of bringing an urgent end to bloodshed in the country.
