Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, now in New York, got a phone call from US Secretary of State John Kerry.

They discussed preparations for the 2015 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) to open here on Monday.

They also discussed ways to boost bilateral ties.
