Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shourky held a meeting with Susan Rice, US President Barack Obama's national security adviser, to discuss boosting bilateral relations.
The meeting tackled preparations for a strategic dialogue session between both countries, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aati said Friday.
The meeting also touched upon the worsening situation in Libya and means of confronting terrorism.
