Minister of Defense and Military Production Colonel General Sedki Sobhi on Tuesday held talks with French Army Chief of Staff General Pierre de Villiers, now visiting Egypt.
The talks took up several issues of common concern, with emphasis on boosting joint military cooperation.
The two sides also exchanged views on the recent regional developments that affect security and stability in the Middle East.
Egyptian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lt.General Mahmoud Hegazy received earlier in the day his French counterpart and held talks on enhancing military cooperation between both countries.
