Egypt's Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali handed over the presidency of the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) to Mauritius Prime Minister Anerood Jugnauth.
During the AARDO's annual conference, Wali provided a review of the Egyptian experience in fighting poverty and developing rural areas.
She also briefed them on the recent reforms adopted by the Egyptian government to promote social justice.
Delegates from 29 African and Asian countries gathered in Port Louis for the conference.
