A reliable source at the Interior Ministry operation room on Monday asserted the safety of all ballot boxes in all electoral committees in the 13 governorates included in the second phase of the parliamentary elections.
The source, in statements to MENA, said the security forces assigned with securing the elections intensified their presence around all electoral committees in the wake of the end of voting at 9 pm on the first day of balloting Sunday night to prevent any attempt by the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood members to attack any committee.
He also said that security services are regular with the early hours of the second day voting, noting that elections were held in stable and calm atmosphere across the country.
