Egypt and Italy are working to promote strategic cooperation and find investment chances to further push ties, the general coordinator of Expo Milano 2015 said.
During the official opening of the Egyptian pavilion at Expo Milano, which was attended by Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, the fair official said Egypt has been adopting the principles of peace and love and fighting violence, terrorism and fundamentalism.
Egypt is rich with natural views and ancient history, making it a distinguished destination for tourists from around the world, the official added.
Some 140 states, including Egypt, are taking part in the exhibition with 54 pavilions.
