Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met on Monday with the deputy chief of Japan's Central Bank.

Mahlab hailed development projects funded by Japan in Egypt including Egypt-Japan University and the Grand Museum .

Egypt's investment minister and Japan's ambassador in Cairo attended the meeting.

The premier voiced hope more Japanese firms would do businesses in Egypt including the new Suez Canal project.
