Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Mahmoud Hegazy underlined Thursday the close ties binding the Egyptian Armed Forces and their counterparts across Africa.
Egypt is keen to coordinate efforts and joint work to confront extremism and terrorism, which pose threat to stability and development for the African people, he added at the end of African cooperation training course for trainees coming from a number of African countries.
The Armed Forces welcome trainees coming from African countries to receive training in military institutes, he added.
