Egypt's Mufti Shawky Allam wrapped up on Saturday a five-day visit to France during which he held meetings with top officials.

Allam told MENA that his European tour, which took him to the Netherlands and France, aimed at correcting wrong concepts about Islam and extend bridges of cooperation.

The Mufti's tour comes as part of strenuous efforts exerted by Darul Iftaa to spread awareness about Islam and clarify misunderstanding among Muslim communities worldwide.
