Army Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Mahmoud Hegazy held talks with visiting Pakistani Defense Secretary Lieutenant General Alam Khattak and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting took up the latest regional and international developments and means of promoting bilateral relations in light of a recent successful visit to Pakistan by Egypt's Defense Minister General Sedqi Sobhy.

The two sides also probed military cooperation. The meeting, attended by a number of army leaders, is part of the ninth round of the Egypt-Pakistan military committee.
