Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab

Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met with Swaziland King Mswati III on the sidelines of the African Union summit here on Sunday.

Egypt is willing to actively participate in development programs in Swaziland, Mahlab said during the meeting, adding that Egyptian companies are interested in the kingdom's planned projects.

Mahlab underlined the importance of reviving a technical cooperation program with Swaziland.

Egypt plans to offer technical and consultative support to Swaziland in the air transport field and establish a strategic partnership with the country in civil aviation and air transport domains, he said.

Mahlab invited the king to attend the inauguration of the new Suez Canal project, which he welcomed.
