Egypt will offer all technical support to Kenya to fight terrorism, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Nile Basin Affairs Mohamed el Hamzawy said.
Hamzawy made the remark during a meeting with a high-level Kenyan delegation comprising police leaders.
The meeting took up means of promoting security relations and the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding on security cooperation, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
They also discussed how to promote cooperation to combat extremist thought through the moderate teachings of Islam with Al Azhar’s contribution, the ministry said.
