Assistant Foreign Minister for Environmental Affairs Mahmoud Samy said Saturday that Egypt has strongly resumed its vital role in Africa by hosting the African conference on Environment and the world economic summit in Sharm El Sheikh.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, the assistant minister highlighted the importance of hosting the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN) as a proof for Egypt's role in the continent.
Also, he pointed out that environmental files have been essential components of Egypt's 2030 strategic plan for economy.
