Russian President's Special Envoy to the Middle East and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov stressed on Thursday the importance of strengthening political coordination with Egypt over all issues at the regional and international levels.
In statements to MENA correspondent in Moscow, Bogdanov hailed as "excellent and distinguished" the Egyptian-Russian relations, saying Moscow and Cairo are keen to open a new phase of relations in all fields.
He said the recent exchange of visits by the Egyptian and Russian presidents reflect the depth of mutual relations.
Speaking about terror in Syria, Iraq and Libya, Bogdanov said Russia and Egypt are keen to unify efforts to combat this international phenomenon.
He underlined that coordination is underway with Arab countries to support the Arab peace draft resolution on Libya at the UN Security Council.
