Cairo - MENA
Egypt seeks to get Ghana's support for its UN non-permanent seat bid for 2016/2017.
This was made clear during a meeting between Egyptian Ambassador in Accra Mohamed Haider and Ghanaian Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur on Wednesday.
The ambassador reviewed the embassy's efforts to boost economic and trade cooperation with Ghana within the coming period to level up to distinguished political relations binding the two countries.
Egypt hopes to sign double taxation avoidance and protecting investments agreements with Ghana, he said.
The Ghanaian official promised to study the two deals.
Talks also covered risks created by growing extremism.
