Egypt's interim Prime Minister Hazem Beblawi said on Monday the referendum over the constitution will take place in the second half of January, Youm7 website reported. "The 50-member panel tasked with drafting the new constitution reviews the articles of the new constitution, before the final vote starts next week," the head of panel Amro Moussasaid. Egypt suspended 2012 constitution in the wake of the ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi in early July. The army has put forward a roadmap including amending the constitution.
