Spokesman of Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Atti said that Egypt welcomes the peace and reconciliation agreement in Mali which was inked Sunday between the Mali government and a number of armed groups in northern the country.
The agreement was inked under Algerian mediation, the spokesman said, calling on the rest of the arm groups to join the agreement.
He voiced hope that all parties commit to the agreement to avoid war and division and to achieve stability and peace.
